Addy. Without a doubt, I like Addy's the best. The L-O-V-E cookies are just too cute. I love the checked napkin too. [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Addy. But I think I'm more than a little biased.

You know, I think the lunch kits are just about the hardest thing to compare -- they are all SO different! I love the beautiful wooden box that Kirsten's lunch comes in. I also really love Kaya's lunch spread -- it is very cool but is quite primitive, so it doesn't really work well with the more modern girls. I adore Kit's green lunchbox, but I think my overall favorite lunch kit is Addy's. It's a hard choice, though, since they are each quite unique.

p.s. We have all of them, and they are ALL better in person than in pictures!

The lunches usually go up on the monthly sale. I wonder if they will be coming up for sale in March. Does anyone remember when the lunches went on sale last year. I have Sam, Kirsten's and Felicity's Tea Lesson which I is now discontinued. I like Kirsten's the best because the tin lunch box for Sam tarnishes quite badly. Kirsten's wooden box is really nice and her food is substantial looking.

I bought all of mine at one time when they were on sale, and I believe it was in September of 2004. I can't remember what month they were on sale in 2005, though -- if they do the same things in the same months, then September is lunch special month.

I'd say Kit's lunch or Kirsten's lunch. I think it was September or October 2005 when some of the lunches were on the Monthly Specials page.

Edited to note that I just checked through my stack of AG order forms and it was September 2005 when Kit's Lunch set was on the Monthly Specials page.

    Question

I would like to order one, but am having difficulty picking out which I want to order. Do you have favorites? If so why? Thanks everyone, it's so hard when you just have a picture to go off of, so I'm hoping some of you will have the lunches to give opinions on.

I definetly love Samantha's. I love the little gingerbread man and the tin box. Kit's is also great with the green box with different modes of transportation on it and the embroidered napkin that says autumn, my favorite season.

The lunch sets are a really fun little accessory. So cute and so much play value!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I was wondering if they will get back to putting a category of items on monthly special again, or if they will continue with putting a variety of items on special as they have for the past two months. I was looking forward to completing our pets and starting on lunches, so I hope to see the grouped items going on special again.
